OZMA XX
CRÉATION
Created in 2002 following the meeting of three students from the Strasbourg Conservatory, all keen on modern jazz but also open to all forms of emerging music of the time, from hip hop to metal, via funk and electro, the band OZMA declined its hybrid music and explosive universe in multiple orchestral configurations. To celebrate its 20th anniversary in style and the reconstitution of its original core with the return of guitarist Adrien Dennefeld at the side of Stéphane Scharlé and Édouard Séro-Guillaume, this is in its XX(L) version that OZMA has come back to, making their baroque big band — essentially based on the groove and the expressive intensity of improvisations, all enriched by kaleidoscopic arrangements — the ideal vector of its incredible energy.
