IMPRODIMENSIJA ORCHESTRA FEAT. MARC DUCRET & LIUDAS MOCKŪNAS
CRÉATION - SAISON DE LA LITUANIE EN FRANCE
MARC DUCRET,
LIUDAS MOCKUNAS,
SAMUEL BLASER
French guitarist Marc Ducret shares a long musical history with Swiss trombonist Samuel Blaser and Lithuanian saxophonist Liudas Mockūnas, playing together as a duo, trio, quartet or as part of the Lady M, Metatonal and ICI projects. Yet it wasn't until October 2022 that this trio was born, around their three musical sensibilities.
And although they've known each other for a long time, it's a new adventure made up of all the music they've taken on the road and all the moments and memories they've shared that has taken shape over the last two years.

IMPRODIMENSIJA ORCHESTRA
Created at the Vilnius Jazz Festival at the instigation of Liudas Mockūnas and Arnas Mikalkėnas, the Improdimensija Orchestra is an ever-young ensemble comprising former students of the Lithuanian Academy of Music. In Strasbourg, Liudas Mockūnas and Marc Ducret are teaming up the finest of French musicians with the Lithuanian orchestra for a truly unconventional project. If the name Liudas Mockūnas is associated with intriguing compositions, in an explosive blend of free jazz and lyricism, that of guitarist Marc Ducret rhymes with eclecticism in forms and formats, diversity of sounds and techniques, giving birth to unexpected music. There's no doubt that this virtuoso duet, a catalyst for the young orchestra's energy, will offer us an exceptional concert.
