MARIE KRÜTTLI TRIO
Marie Kruttli's trio is inspiring, fresh and daring. The Swiss pianist has created her own language, which is developed within her trio in an performance characterised by both lightness and groove, and which speaks to the heart and the body.
When she released her first solo album in March 2023, it was in the three-piece format, with the piano at the centre, that the power of her interpretation and improvisation inevitably came to the fore. Marie Krüttli's playing is impressive, delivering complex rhythms and colourful harmonies with infinite ease. With an accomplished sound and a singular aesthetic, the three musicians deliver music of great richness and take us on a journey through a full of life, mysterious musical landscape

MICHAEL ATTIAS 4TET
KARDAMON SPRING
Acknowledged as one of the most secretive and inventive figures in New York's rich avant-garde scene, alto saxophonist Michaël Attias always presented himself as a musician of the ‘in-between worlds’, striving to build bridges between Europe and America, on the fringes of post-jazz, contemporary music and free improvisation. Combining his lyrical, tangy saxophone with the enchanting vibraphone of Greek-born Berlin musician Evi Filippou, the elastic grooves of Canadian double bassist Miles Perkin and the polyrhythmic sophistication of Belgian drummer Samuel Ber, Michaël Attias's eminently cosmopolitan new quartet is a splendid compendium of his resolutely hybrid aesthetic, at once abstract and ultra-sensory.
