It's been at least twenty years now that Christophe Monniot and Marc Ducret have regularly invited each other into their respective orchestras and projects (Ozone and Moniomania for the former; Qui parle? and Métatonal for the latter), thus weaving the fabric of a "common territory" in eternal reinvention. Lately, it is as a duo that they decided to go on and develop their dialogue, opting for this high-risk form to experiment a kind of expressive and emotional stripping. Working on tension between writing and improvisation through a series of daring and sophisticated compositions, these two free spirits present music like no other, as restrained as it is wildly expressionist - both qualities expressed in explosions of controlled energies.
