NOCES TRANSLUCIDES
Saxophonist François Corneloup invites us to a joyfully transversal project with his Noces translucides. Having admired for years the work of photographer Guy Le Querrec, he started from the fulgurance of one of his snapshots – a photograph captured on the spot of the fleeting embrace of two newlyweds – to imagine and develop a 'total show' creating a dialogue between music, theater and poetry around this image, in search of a utopian synesthesia where every expression would find its translation and its extension in the gesture of the other. Putting to music and staging a magnificent text by Jean Rochard, transfigured by the voice of Anne Alvaro, François Corneloup leads a small ensemble remarkable with its organic cohesion and succeeds in constantly giving to see and hear these 'translucent weddings' between jazz and photography.
