TROUBLE
With his hypnotic drums, which made the success of the Surnatural Orchestra and its Magnetic Ensemble, Antonin Leymarie relaunches in a quintet his bet of a trance that is both rhythmic and melodic. Always in search of fertile territories, he surrounds himself with intrepid partners: Fabrizio Rat's prepared piano, Clément Petit's augmented cello, Maëlle Desbrosses' expressive viola and Élise Caron's whimsical and wandering voice. Capable of using all the capacities of sound transformation to install original rhythmic flat areas, orchestrated in a great simplicity of form to better lend itself to all improvisations, this combo delivers troubling, joyful or dark mantras that open the doors of the imagination. Together, they compose a vibrant and undisciplined space: the one where (the) Trouble is born.

PHOTONS
Carried by pianist Gauthier Toux, a figure of a new generation without blinkers, Photons offers instrumental techno nourished by the sound of Berlin nights, in a hypnotic mix of jazz and electronics. Alongside drummer Julien Loutelier, double bassist Samuel F'hima and guitarist Giani Caserotto, the quartet navigates between musical tinkering and high-flying improvisation to take its audience on a journey through hypnotic tracks where organic and electronic music merge. After the remarkable release of the album La Nuit sans l'ennui (Komos Records), Photons continues its trajectory and asserts itself as an astonishing project, capable of making particles — or waves — vibrate on jazz stages as well as in techno events. A music that is danced as much as it is listened to, both organic and jubilant.
