Born from the meeting of four musicians from Lorraine, Cactus 4tet is naturally part of the short but dense tradition of jazz quartets. Motivated by the desire to explore new avenues, they are keen to shake up the codes of this music, while anchoring themselves in the jazz of the 21st century (Brad Mehldau, Christian Scott, Tigran Hamasyan). The Tristan Bernoud Project embodies the new generation of Brussels jazz. Led by vibraphonist Tristan Bernoud, this quintet features fresh, contemporary original compositions inspired by the great names of modern jazz and the New York scene. Complicity and collective energy are at the heart of each of their performances.
