POLYBAHN
POLYBAHN brings together three poet-visionaries of sound and time: the French pianist Benoît Delbecq, the Belgian drummer Samuel Ber and the Franco-American saxophonist Michaël Attias. Like an aerial tramway suspended in a sky of resonances, their music mixes fluid rhythmic cogs, reflections of memory and instantaneous songs. The prepared piano crumples and caresses the sounds, the saxophone slides between the micro-tonal intervals, and the drums dialogue in a thousand nuances with cymbals and percussions, creating, by entirely acoustic means, quasi-electronic resonances. The trio traces a hypnotic journey that merges with the musical dream, taking the listener on its vertiginous ascent.

HÉLÈNE DURET SYNESTET FEAT. NILS WOGRAM
Synestet: the name evokes synesthesia, this phenomenon by which several senses mingle and respond to each other. The training of clarinetist Hélène Duret thus solicits the sensory imagination: the music becomes a play of colors, smells, shapes and textures. A rock guitar, explosive and polymorphous, dialogues with a mobile drum set, alternately in the foreground or in the background, while saxophone, clarinet, double bass and the trombone of his guest Nils Wogram merge into a collective voice with immediately significant melodies. Between the legacies of Ornette Coleman, Jimmy Giuffre and Duke Ellington, and more contemporary influences such as Jakob Bro or Timber Timbre, this European sextet deploys a sound exploration that celebrates the virtues of simplicity as much as inventiveness.
